Ultra combines a UHMWPE woven face with a laminated film backing to produce a fabric that is highly abrasion resistant, has extremely high tensile and tear strength, and is waterproof. 200d Ultra PE is woven and laminated to recycled, waterproof RUV film. At just 3.5oz/yd2, it far exceeds the technical properties of any similar weight fabric.
