This nylon 6.6 pack fabric features a carbonate coating on the face that improves abrasion resistance and tear strength. Paired with Nylon 66 yarn it has a lower water absorption rate, higher abrasion resistance, and higher tenacity strength in comparison to Nylon 6.
This fabric is waterproof/non-breathable with a DWR treatment on the top and a PU coating on the backside. It is malleable with a dull face fabric and a smooth, glossy PU backing.
Uses of this fabric include backpack fabric and liners, bike bag liners, fanny packs, ditty and accessory pouches, wallets, and reinforcement areas such as pack straps and side pockets.
The colour is a mix between steel grey and grey green. The exact colour is difficult to catch. The 1st picture is closest to the right colour and the best I have been able to get.
